What a joy to wake up this morning to a sparkling hoar frost on the last day of November – an unusual sight in London. So as soon as I’d bundled the small person off to nursery I grabbed my camera and took a few pictures
in my north facing front garden, before my fingers were too cold to press the trigger.
When it comes to photographing garden design, the focus is usually on flowers in full bloom during the height of summer, but the winter garden can be just as dramatic when the conditions are right.
